Description
Your pet’s own page on the web — always a tap away
The Bring Me Home Tag gives your pet a real webpage — a dedicated profile page on the internet with their photos, your contact details, medical notes, and vet information, all in one place. When someone finds your pet, they tap the tag with any modern smartphone and that page opens immediately in their browser. No app. No QR code. Just tap.
The page is yours to manage. Log in to your account any time and update your phone number, swap photos, add medical notes, or change what’s visible to the public. The web address never changes, which means the tag never needs reprogramming, it’s always pointing to the
right place.
How it works
- Order today — enter your pet’s name at checkout. That’s all we need for now.
- We email you a setup link — use it to build your pet’s profile at your own pace. Add photos, your phone number, address, medical notes, and vet details. Choose exactly what appears publicly.
- We make and post your tag — handcrafted and programmed to your profile URL before it leaves us.
- Stay in control — log into your account any time to update your details, swap photos, or change what’s visible.
The tag URL never changes so the tag never needs reprogramming.
What’s on your profile page
- Pet name and breed
- Up to 5 photos
- Your name and phone number (one tap to call or text)
- Email and home address (optional)
- Medical and dietary notes
- Vet name and phone number
You choose which of these appear publicly — everything else stays private.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to download an app to use this?
No. The tag uses NFC — the same technology as contactless payments. Any iPhone (XS or later) or Android phone (2015 onwards) can tap the tag and open your pet’s profile directly in their browser. No app required on either end.
What happens when someone finds my pet?
They hold their phone near the tag — just like tapping to pay. Your pet’s profile page opens immediately showing your contact details, photos, and any medical notes you’ve chosen to share. There’s a one-tap Call button and a Text button so they can reach you in
seconds.
How do I set up my pet’s profile?
Once your order is confirmed, we’ll email you a secure setup link. Click it, fill in your details, upload some photos, and save. Your profile goes live immediately and we start making your tag. The whole process takes a few minutes.
Can I update my details after setting up?
Yes — as many times as you like. Log into your account on our website, go to My Pet Profiles, and edit anything: phone number, address, photos, medical notes, visibility settings. Changes appear on the public page immediately. Because the URL stays the same, the
physical tag never needs reprogramming.
How long does the profile stay active?
Your profile is hosted for 1 year from the date of purchase. We’ll email you 30 days before expiry and again at 7 days so you have plenty of notice. To renew, simply purchase a new Web Profile tag — your pet keeps their existing profile URL.
What happens if my profile expires?
The profile page will show a polite message letting anyone who scans the tag know that the profile is no longer active. It won’t show any of your personal details. To reactivate, purchase a new tag.
Is my information secure?
Yes. You choose exactly what appears on the public profile — nothing is shown without your permission. Photos are stored securely with randomly generated filenames. Your setup link is a unique one-time token that expires as soon as you’ve completed your
profile.
Can I have more than one pet on the same tag?
Each tag is set up for one pet and links to one profile page. If you have multiple pets, you’ll need a separate tag for each one — each with their own profile, their own URL, and their own annual subscription.
What if I lose the tag or it gets damaged?
Order a replacement tag and we’ll programme it to the same profile URL — your existing profile, photos, and details will all still be there. Contact us when you order and we’ll make sure it’s set up correctly. There will be a small fee payable for replacement tags.
Is this a replacement for a microchip?
No, this is in addition to a microchip, imagine the delay in someone getting your beloved pet to a vets to be scanned, what if it is out of hours and there are no vets around, the tag allows for immediate contact to be made with you, no special apps or equipment needed, anyone with a smart phone can tap the tag and instantly contact you.
